It's that weird summer-to-fall transition. Here's what I put on my face!
SPF, FACE, and BROWS
I use Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery on my face before makeup, it's a broad spectrum sunscreen, moisturizer, and has anti-aging properties. I switch off between Coola's Makeup Setting Spray and Goldfaden MD Sun Visor; these are great for putting over makeup whenever that every-two-hours reapplication time comes up.
For most days, it's Glossier's Perfecting Skin Tint because it's light and sheer. For slightly more coverage, I'll use Tarte's bb Tinted Moisturizer (and bonus, more SPF!) To spot treat and conceal, RMS's Un-cover Up is perfect, and it has slightly more yellow undertones for my Azn skin. // On my brows is Glossier's Boy Brow pomade in black, or I play around with Chosungah 22 Dong Gonn Minn Brow Maker if I want to lighten to brown.
EYES AND CHEEKS
I use Chosungah 22's Ink Jet Black Tatt Eyeliner because of the fat marker with pointed tip that gets the job done. Next, I line my water line with Colourpop's eyeliner in nude to make my eyes pop. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is my holy grail item, it has consistently performed better than all else. // I apply a swipe of Marc Jacobs Air Blush Soft Glow Duo followed by their Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator on the high parts of my cheeks, brow bones, inner eye corners, and cupid's bow. I then apply a small amount of Pixi Flawless Finishing Power in translucent only in the areas needed: around my nose, between brows, and under my eyes to set the concealer.
Lastly is lips! For this time of the year I'm quite liking the use of dark and dramatic glosses. I love Grande Lips Hydrating Lip Plumper gloss--it not only has a tingly effect for immediate plumping, but also has ingredients to increase lip volume in the long term over time with regular use. I'm using this in their deep burgundy color Midnight Purple below, and alternate with Lust Red, their true red, and Colourpop's Ultra Glossy Lip in Wolfie, a rosy red with a gold metallic finish.
Here's the final look! Now put stuff on your face, too.
