My hair gets extremely frizzy out of the shower, but low-maintenance is practically in my DNA; blow dryers are just a thing I can get with. This is why I load up on products to air dry, and why their quality is so important. Paraben-ridden products are also not my thing. To add to the mix, my hair is bleached & green, so color-safety is also a priority. Moroccanoil is my savior. Their pure Argan oil-infused products permeate the hair with rich antioxidants, vitamin E, and other nutrients to not only manage the symptoms of my coarse hair but also nourish it. I've partnered with them to show you my routine!
Before I hop in the shower, I apply a few drop of the Dry Scalp Treatment because dry winters can strip moisture from both skin and also your head! After washing and rinsing, I apply the Intense Curl Cream, which happily replaced a drugstore brand that contained parabens. It controls the wave and frizzies without a nasty crunch. Lastly, I swipe the air-dried ends with Moroccanoil Treatment, which I reapply the next day on dry hair to tame fly-aways and wind/friction-sourced frizz. And as to not neglect my skin of this luxurious treatment, I slather on a small dallop of the Shimmering Body Oil.
Thanks to Moroccanoil for making my tresses silky, and for making this post possible!
Perfect hungover Sunday activities? The triple A's: stroll down Broadway and stop by Aesop for bath goods, window shop at Acne Studios, and finish off at the Ace Hotel rooftop. If you sneak your pup in your leopard coat, effectiveness increases exponentially.
Excited to share my divination essentials, with this Moon Phase Ring being the cornerstone. Moonglow allows you to select any date, and they'll customize your ring to the exact moon phase on that day; alternately, you can skip the day and pick which phase suits you best. Without hesitation, I chose my birthday, Dec. 11, which happened to be a full moon. This explains a lot! I use the above not so much for seeking knowledge, but more for aura-cleansing at my desk at work. (Unfortunately, lit candles are prohibited, so it's kept on the DL.) I totally underestimated the effect it would have!

Although it's late, I had to share with you what is now one of my favorite costumes to date: FKA Twigs. I gathered statement pieces in shades of black, chunky hardware, and all the eyelash glue in my home for this one. Now if only I had the amount of rhythm she has in one of her pinkies.

Visited The good ol' 6ix for Dani's birthday and to be reunited to Alyssa and Bianca (finally). I feel like our bi-annual international stays together during fashion week aren't enough (and neither do they, apparently), so we made an event out of it. If you're a So-Cal weather-sensitive baby like me, but still want to experience actual seasons, November is a great month to visit! The air was crisp and delicately biting, but didn't deter me from leaving the house *ahem, NYFW in Feb.*
By the way, I have Alyssa to thank for my beautiful new blog navigation! I literally imagined my ideal nav. bag and made a mockup in photoshop and she MADE IT EXACTLY. Coding wizardry.
I've really grown to love my home--when you first move somewhere new, it's like getting to know a person, especially if it's a significant change from former habitations. There's a specific hour (no, not the Golden Hour) when light bounces off the walls, just perfectly diffused, and capturing it was an exciting challenge.
