DIY: SNACKTIME

Hey guys! I'm back from Palm Springs from Coachella weekend and have almost completely recovered (outfits coming soon!) Since moving out, I realized how much I needed to learn how to make food--not even cook--but at least put some fresh things together. Cooking is a bit foreign to me, so I'm learning how to make basics. I figured, if I can do it, I might as well document it along the way! Ergo, welcome to my new DIY series. I'm starting off EXTREMELY easy with a yogurt and granola parfait. I got so excited that I ate the damn thing before taking a proper photo, so my finished product is a highly retouched snapchat photo. (BTW doing mini DIYs & tags on my snap! Username: joellenlu)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Mason jar or decorative jar if you're going to take a photo

• Blueberries

• Yogurt or your choice

• Kiwis

• Raspberries

• Granola

Basically, all you need to do is layer them up as you wish! Make sure to keep them in flat layers, being careful with the yogurt to not smear it on the sides of the jar, or else you won't be able to see the other ingredients. It's a good idea to keep the yogurt and granola in adjacent layers to balance squishy and crunch. I froze my blueberries because I hate the soft ones, and my yogurt is greek berry.
