If hashtags were relevant in the blogging game, this one would have a big #LATERGRAM attributed to it. I've got a whole slew of photos that need to be posted, including summer traveling photo diaries, and cross my heart that I'll post at every opportunity I get. Besides finishing up my final year as an undergraduate full time (if "over time" existed for classes, that'd be more fitting), plus Tarte full time, plus a volunteer gig I'm doing twice-three times a week (that starts at... ready? 8AM), I've been pretty slammed. Additionally, as you can tell by the day/time, i.e., Friday night, a social life isn't really a top priority, but I've always been a homebody anyways.
This post is more of a rant/update, but I'd also like to mention how much I love doing my volunteer work this semester! I'm working at a Child Development and Care Center, aka a preschool (my site of choice), and I couldn't have made a better decision. Basically I get to play with 4 year olds for 4 hours, and do crafts with them. I'm pretty sure the staff thinks I'm pretty goofy for being an active participant during outside play time rather than supervising, but I've seriously missed being around kids since quitting my tutoring job and taking up Tarte full time. THEY'RE SO CUTE.
