You know a post is old when your hair color isn't even the same anymore. These photos are from Born Free, an awesome motorcycle show and all around culture festival. Met up Brittany before chasing down Blake Anderson, my favorite Workaholics protagonist. At any rate, Friday night isn't the best time to post as I'm currently being nudged indefinitely to hurry up with my post (I hate doing drafts because they make me feel uninspired), but I was really unnerved to see photos piling up after coming back from my Vegas trip.

MAGIC LAS VEGAS VIA POLAROID

I'm back from an amazing week in Las Vegas with the Magic Influencers (aka amazing group of bloggers) for MAGIC Tradeshow. I still need to unearth my camera and camera cord from beneath all my trip belongings and not to mention everything I've moved from my former condo in Long Beach that is now all conveniently crammed into my bedroom. That being said, here is an instant-film preview of our night life activities--I assigned the DSLR for day and polaroid by night. (PS I actually won the Instax camera on the blogger bus en route to Vegas during Rue La La's fashion trivia challenge... thank you infinitely!)
Here's the breakdown for those so inclined~1; Welcome party with cocktails and monster-size "appetizers" at the Peppermill fire pit. It screamed "Fear and Loathing."2; My first time ever playing a slot machine. On the Husky machine, of course.3; Backless buddies with Anosha after our private dinner (amazing) at Chicago Joe's, just before the Joy Rich x Vice magazine party.4; The limo ride to the private All Saints x Magic party at the Cosmopolitan. Chanel's flexibility left me speechless. (Yes, that's a leg perpendicular to the limo ceiling)5 & 6; Olivia, Kristine, and I enjoying catered h'orderves and champagne. 7; Horribly candid Stephanie and I just arriving upstairs to the Chandelier Room for drinks courtesy of All Saints, following a Disney musical in the back of the cab starring Kelsi.

MAGIC TRADESHOW WEEK

Faithful readers, I have not forgotten about you! Okay, I know summer should be relaxing and a great time to blog the days away, but between moving out (but keeping enough in tact for a bedroom feature), having the store's packer/shipper on vacation, and mini road trips back-to-back, preoccupied might be an understatement. Not to mention clawing after classes at the uni like tigers over some steak. Gross analogy but probably the most fitting. At any rate, more updates to come, more vintage on the store, and a HUGE back to school sale. Ta ta!

COLOR WHEEL

I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas and have got a lot on my plate, but I refuse to let more than a week go by without a post. I love these shorts that we put up on the store because of the Zara/Alexander Wang-esque studs speckled across the front panel. I can just imagine how many other seemingly plain outfits for which these shorts could act as a catalyst.

I FOUND GOLD

Some time last month I had the pleasure of helping my friend Bambi out with her runway show for her line "I Found Gold," which I ended up absolutely loving. Her pieces undoubtedly took the cake that afternoon. Each design had its own unique distinction and silhouette, and all together assimilated cohesively to fit the collection's name perfectly. I recall dreading taking off my outfit, which included a boxy mesh crop top dotted with tiny crosses and completed with a pleather Peter Pan collar, and a scalloped vinyl skirt layered over a tulle petticoat for support. Too good.
