Some quick snaps at the last night of LA Fashion Weekend. My apologies for not including any runway shots--it was the fault of none other than the combination of another open bar and 'DrawSomething,' as seen below. We concluded the night with a continued buffet of drinks at the Skybar at Mondrian (which helped soothe my ears from the sloppy mixing of overplayed top 40s). Cynicism aside, I'm balled up in excitement for Tarte's newest lookbook that was completed today, with photography and direction by yours truly, and desert shoot coming amidst our Coachella getaway. Any other Weekend 1 attendees out there?

A couple weeks ago I was invited to cover LA Fashion weekend for my blog. It didn't exactly exhibit the same characteristics as most of the events I've attended, but with a open bar all night, I couldn't really complain. The highlight of the night for me was predictably the legwear of Betsey Johnson's collection. What does a girl need to do to get her hands on those nude diamond tights?
I'm excited to finally show you guys the exclusive product for the store! This is one of the first altered vintage pieces (besides our studded shorts you guys love) that will be hitting the store this spring and summer. I threw this jacket over our Sky Mint Lace dress and paired it with super cute crochet mary janes sent from Lulus.com. Not to forget the Lolita sunnies we just stocked in four different colors.
Happy shopping & more updates in the very near future, along side my normal blog posts.
This is what I wore to LA Fashion Weekend day one. I'm not sure if I can express my love for this dress by Afends within a few lines of a blog post. I paired the clear handle of my vintage purse with my clear dome umbrella... fortunately I didn't have to end up using it for the night. Photos from the event are coming next!
Last Friday I attended Concept LA to kick off LA Fashion week. As always, the installations were breathing works of art. Of the runway shows, personally, Nami took the cake. I loved all the lace, and the velvet + cut-out combos were spot on. That's not to say I didn't enjoy Jen Awad's splashes of (hopefully faux) fur accents.

Furthermore, I was so excited and pleasantly surprised to meet few readers/customers! You guys were totally sweet, and happy customers are my favorite. Additional photos from the night can be found here.
