VINTAGE FLEAS

Last week we went hunting for new summer pieces for Tarte Vintage. Stay tuned for summer dresses, psychedelic prints, delicate blouses, and of course, shredded, studded denim. Not unusually, I picked up a few things for myself, including: a vintage pearl detachable collar, antique bottles, gold display mirrors, and my favorite, Chanel loafers.

Semi-Sheer Cuffed Chiffon Button-up via Tarte Vintage, thrifted shorts and bag
These photos were shot a few weeks ago while I "tested" out one of our tops before I added it to the store. (Tested as in I won't live with myself if I don't wear this at least once.) Although it's long gone, as I was browsing a popular company's new styles I just had to take a screenshot as proof of how some vintage styles are simply timeless. I think the resemblance is uncanny. Stay tuned for more!

WOVEN STRAW

Vintage Mesh & Lace Shreds Dress via Tarte Vintage, F21 Straw Floppy Hat, thrifted woven picnic purse/basket
I wish I could say that these photos were pre-picnic, but there was nothing more in my purse (basket?) than my everyday purse essentials. This is one of the vintage dresses on Tarte; the start to many, many more. The subtle shreds in the sheer skirt of the dress adds a subtle edge, slightly similar to torn tights but substantially less obnoxious.
