This past weekend was Born Free 3, which was a window to different and surprisingly very artistic culture. I thought what better chance than to sport my newly DIY fringed tee that I'll be selling at the trunk show this weekend. Paired w a fringe leather vest (also selling), a DIY floral headband, DIY destroyed Levi's (wow, I do a lot myself), and silver buckled wedges, it was a perfect biker chic/hippie/cowgirl mash-up.

These are the first batch of the Hardcouture x JLove's Closet Shop collab, and I'm really excited to finally show them to all of you. I now have a callous on my thumb from studding, but it's all worth it. Does anyone have any links to cute thimbles?

MR. ROGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD

A bit ago the boy and I took a stroll through Old Towne Orange. I was excited to see the faux trolley in town, which not only reminds me of trips up north to San Francisco but also a childhood favorite of mine. Those who are age-appropriate may have already guessed why I alluded to said television show in my title. I also came across an amazing feminine vintage boutique that I must revisit soon. I have photos, but without my flash with me, they just don't do this little nook the justice it deserves--so stay tuned for that. To the boy's liking there was a male counterpart next door, which was just as impressive.

I'm also excited to let you know about...

On Saturday, July 2nd, I'll be participating in a trunk show! This will be the first time ever that buyers will be able to come and take a peep at all my vintage and newer finds in the flesh. My Closet Shop, along with Caylen & Kristine (Hardcouture) will be offering handmade, vintage, and slightly used name-brand clothing and accessories. Come by for beautiful clothes, delicious delicacies, and good company! AND I'll be taking photos :) There will also be other great vendors so check it out! Tickets are only $4, and $1 from each ticket sold is going to the Red Cross.

JUNGLE&PAINT

First photo by Cameron McCool. I contemplated posting the latter photos due to its horrible quality, but it was too fun of a night to pass posting up. They were taken with my point-and-shoot, which takes surprisingly acceptable daytime photos, but the flash just robs it of all its credit. For someone that asked, it's a Nikon S50, or something like that. I'm selling this wonderful skirt I'm wearing. I love the tribal print that could well served as a muse for AA's tribal print and other mass-produced "unique" patterns.
